Comment settings

If your organization requests it, we can turn on comments for certain content types. Comments allow visitors to the site to leave their remarks about a page.

If a content type has comments available, the content form for those pages have a Comment settings section, which can be used to turn–on or –off comments for that particular page.

When creating a page, you will see the following two options:

  1. Open — any user who has permission to post comments can do so.
  2. Closed — no user will be allowed to post comments.

If you edit a page that already comments on it, you will see the following options:

  1. Open — existing comments are shown, and any user who has permission to post comments can do so.
  2. Closed — existing comments are shown, but no more comments can be posted.
  3. Hidden — existing comments are hidden (not deleted) and no more comments can be posted.
