This spring we completed the 2nd part of our Ephesians study. We have covered the first three chapters of this amazing epistle, bringing us to the end of the doctrinal or teaching part of the letter. Paul exalts God for His sovereignty in election and grace in salvation. He reveals God’s vast eternal plan for mankind and the mysteries of the spiritual wealth of the believers who are before all else IN CHRIST!
The letter now calls us therefore to live intentionally in a manner that is worthy of Him and worthy of our calling.
We are called to live our righteous lives as imitators of God (5:1).
There will be lots of practical things to learn as we navigate our way through these last days with Ephesians. Some of the issues we will pursue are:
- The Unity of the Spirit;
- Maturity in Christ;
- Living differently;
- Redeeming the time;
- Living a sanctified, holy life
- Spiritual warfare
This fall please consider joining us for this practical study!
If you have not taken Ephesians Part 1 or Part 2, no worries! We will catch you up as the rest of us review what we have seen and learned so far and you will find a warm welcome to our class!
