Paul begins the letter to the Ephesians with a declaration of blessing “to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING in the heavenly places in Christ…” Immediately Paul lists one after the other of these blessings of our salvation in a most concise and yet thorough way.
In the first three chapters Paul lays out a complete doctrinal foundation of our faith and who we believers are in Christ.
In the last three chapters he outlines our fitting practical response to such a salvation and such a Saviour.
