We have so much information in the scriptures concerning the last days, even more than we have about Jesus’ first coming. It is certainly a challenge to come to a place of clarity, and even more so with a cacophony of voices holding forth a full range of varying opinions and interpretations.

Although it is helpful to approach the prophecy spectrum by beginning with current events and seeing if and how they may fulfill Bible passages, it is nevertheless far preferable to begin with the Scripture itself and then to evaluate whether the event fits.

Our goal, our task actually, will be to lay a biblical foundation of the things to come so that, as you become increasingly familiar with the details and also where they fit on the timeline, you will be able to assess what you hear and read on that scriptural basis, not just a favourite view or because of your favourite prophecy expert’s interpretation.

For those of you who have done all this before, it may be a perfect opportunity to test your prophecy knowledge and recall. The time is short and until Jesus comes to catch us up, we will have many opportunities to share the prophetic Word. People are more curious and open than ever.

"Let us together determine that we will not be ignorant of our times!"
